Yealink T41S / T42U User Guide
Complete reference for DVGVoIP customers using the Yealink T41S or T42U IP desk phone — calling, voicemail, transfers, forwarding, and more. Both models share the same interface and features.
Placing a Call

| Using Handset | Pick up the handset → Dial number → Press Send |

| Using Headset | Press Headset to activate → Dial number → Press Send |
| Dial from Directory | Press Directory soft key → Browse or search → Select contact → Press Send |
| Redial Last Number | Press Redial once to view call history, or twice to call last number immediately |
Tip: You can pre-dial a number before picking up the handset — dial the digits first, then pick up or press Send.
Answering a Call

Hold & Resume

Transferring a Call

Mute, End & Redial

| Mute | Press the Mute button (mic icon). Press again to un-mute. The mute LED lights red. |
| End Call | Hang up handset, or press End Call soft key, or press Speakerphone if on speaker |
| Redial | Press Redial to open Placed Calls list, or press twice to immediately redial the last number |
Call Forwarding
Navigate to: Menu → Features → Call Forward, then choose a forward type:

|---|---|
| Always Forward | All incoming calls forwarded unconditionally. Enter destination → Press Save. |
| Busy Forward | Forwards when the phone is already on a call. Enter destination → Press Save. |
| No Answer Forward | Forwards if not answered within the set ring time. Enter destination + ring time → Press Save. |
Note: Call forwarding can also be configured in the 3CX web app under your extension settings — changes sync to the phone automatically.
Conference Calling

1. During a call, press Conference soft key (first call placed on hold) 2. Dial the second party → Press Send 3. Press Conference again when they answer — all parties joined |
| End Conference | Press End Call to disconnect all parties |
| Split Conference | Press Split soft key to separate into two individual held calls |
Note: The T41S / T42U supports 3-way conference calling on the phone. For larger conferences, use the 3CX web or desktop app.
Speed Dial & Line Keys
The T41S / T42U has 6 programmable line keys on the left side of the phone.

Voicemail

Note: For most DVGVoIP deployments, the T41S and T42U are functionally identical day-to-day. The T42U is recommended if you need USB headset support or more than 6 speed dial keys.
