Northern Ontario's 3CX Business Phone System Experts
DVGVoIP delivers the complete 3CX platform to Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario businesses — hosted PBX, SIP trunks, phones, and hands-on support. One provider. One bill. No surprises.
What Is 3CX?
3CX is a software-based business phone system (PBX) that replaces traditional on-premise telephone hardware with a modern, flexible platform that runs in the cloud or on your own server. It's used by over 600,000 organizations in 190 countries — from small offices to enterprises like Air France and NHS.
Unlike traditional phone systems that tie you to a single desk and a fixed set of lines, 3CX works across every device your team already uses: desk phones, mobile phones, laptops, and web browsers. All on one system. All on one bill.
DVGVoIP is Northern Ontario's dedicated 3CX Advanced Certified partner — we supply the 3CX license, host the platform, provide your SIP trunks, configure your system, and support it ongoing. You don't need to deal with multiple vendors.
Everything From One Provider
Most businesses end up juggling three or four separate vendors for their phone system — a carrier for lines, a software vendor for the PBX, a hardware supplier for phones, and a support contractor when something breaks. Every issue becomes a finger-pointing exercise.
DVGVoIP is your single point of accountability for everything. When you call us, you reach the team that set up your system. We know your configuration, your call flows, and your business.
- 3CX licensing — Professional and Enterprise editions
- Managed cloud hosting on redundant enterprise infrastructure
- Canadian SIP trunks with local Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario DIDs
- Toll-free numbers and number porting
- IP desk phones (Yealink, Poly) — sourced, provisioned, shipped
- System configuration, extensions, call flows, auto-attendant
- Staff training and onboarding
- Ongoing support from the team that knows your system
One Monthly Bill
Your 3CX license, hosted infrastructure, SIP trunks, unlimited Canada & US calling, and DVGVoIP support — consolidated into a single predictable monthly charge.
No surprise invoices. No per-extension licensing fees. No separate long distance bills.

Everything Included in Your 3CX System
DVGVoIP's hosted 3CX delivers a complete unified communications platform — not just a phone line.
Why DVGVoIP — Not a National Carrier
National carriers and generic VoIP resellers will sell you a 3CX license and leave you to figure out the rest. DVGVoIP is different — we're a local Northern Ontario team that holds 3CX Advanced Certification and Canadian 3CX Silver Level Partner status. That's not a marketing claim — it means our engineers have passed the highest level of 3CX technical certification and are accountable directly to 3CX for the quality of our deployments.
When something needs attention, you call us. Not a ticket queue. Not a national support line. The same team that built your system.
- 3CX Advanced Certified — highest engineer certification tier
- Canadian 3CX Silver Level Partner
- 20 years of IT experience in Northern Ontario (DVG Systems)
- Local Thunder Bay support — Monday to Friday, plus 24/7 emergency line

- No setup fees on standard deployments
Switching From a Legacy System?
If your business is running on an aging PBX, old analog lines, or a competitor's system that's becoming expensive to maintain, DVGVoIP handles the full migration — no disruption to your business.
- Assessment — We review your current system, call volumes, and hardware.
- Compatibility check — We identify which existing phones can be reused.
- Parallel build — Your new 3CX system is configured before the cutover date.
- Number porting — Your existing numbers move to DVGVoIP. No gap in service.
- Cutover & training — Switchover in minutes. Staff trained before go-live.
Most Northern Ontario businesses recover the full cost of switching within three months of go-live.
Industries DVGVoIP Serves in Northern Ontario
We've deployed 3CX for businesses across a range of sectors — each with different call flow requirements, compliance needs, and staffing structures.
Healthcare & Clinics
Call queues for appointment lines, fax-to-email for referrals, SRTP encryption, and E911 compliance. Works with front-desk, remote nursing staff, and on-call physicians.
Legal & Professional Services
Call recording for compliance, direct-dial extensions for each lawyer or accountant, voicemail to email, and CRM integration with practice management software.
Construction & Resource Industries
Mobile-first deployments for field crews. Staff in Thunder Bay, on-site in Red Lake, and in camp can all be on the same extension — no cell phone charges between teams.
Retail & Hospitality
Multi-line front desk, after-hours routing to manager on call, live chat widget on your website — all from one 3CX system that scales from a single location to a regional chain.
Non-Profit & Government
Budget-conscious organizations benefit most from 3CX's no-per-extension licensing. A 50-person non-profit pays for concurrent call channels, not headcount.
Finance & Insurance
Call recording, secure encrypted communications, Microsoft 365 integration for contact sync, and reliable failover to ensure clients always reach an advisor.
Common Questions
Do I need to buy new phones?
In most cases, no. 3CX is compatible with a wide range of existing SIP-compatible IP phones including Yealink, Polycom, Cisco, and Grandstream. DVGVoIP checks your existing hardware during the free assessment and tells you what's compatible and what, if anything, needs replacing.
Does 3CX support fax?
Yes. 3CX supports T.38 fax over IP for analog fax machines connected via an ATA adapter, and fax-to-email for receiving incoming faxes as PDF attachments. This is commonly used by healthcare, legal, and financial offices in Northern Ontario that still rely on fax for compliance reasons.
Can 3CX handle multiple locations?
Yes — this is one of 3CX's biggest advantages for Northern Ontario businesses. Multiple offices in different communities all run on the same hosted system. Staff in different locations share extensions, transfer calls between sites, and appear under the same auto-attendant. No expensive inter-site data circuits required.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. DVGVoIP offers month-to-month service. We believe in earning your business through service quality, not locking you in. You can scale up, scale down, or leave with standard notice.
What happens if our internet goes down?
DVGVoIP configures automatic failover so that if your internet connection drops, incoming calls reroute to a backup destination — a mobile number, another site, or voicemail. Staff with the 3CX mobile app can also continue making calls over cellular data.
