Who Bell Total Connect is built for — and who it isn't
Bell Total Connect is Bell's hosted business phone and collaboration service, built on a carrier-grade platform with Webex for meetings. It is a solid fit for organisations that want Bell as a single national vendor and have the budget for it.
Bell's Ontario rate sheet (effective June 1, 2025, the most recent published) lists four packages: Basic $82.80, Talk $87.80, Collaborate $94.80 and Go $99.80 per month. The packages document shows Talk as calling features only, Collaborate adding the desktop app, voicemail-to-email and audio meetings up to 25, and Go adding the mobile app and meetings up to 100.
Where the Bell Total Connect model can work against a Northern Ontario business
The auto-attendant is not in any base package
In Bell's packages document the auto-attendant, hunt group, call queue, call dashboard and music on hold are listed under "Optional Features", separate from the Talk / Collaborate / Go table. DVGVoIP includes the auto-attendant, ring groups and music on hold on Starter, and call queues on Business.
The mobile app starts at the top package
The mobile app, Find Me/Follow Me and simultaneous ring appear only on Go, the $99.80 package on the Ontario rate sheet. DVGVoIP's mobile and desktop apps are on every plan, including $22 Starter.
The package price is many times the per-user rate
Bell's Ontario rate sheet lists Total Connect packages at $82.80 to $99.80 per month. Even if that price covers more than one user, DVGVoIP's published $22 / $19 per user makes the comparison for a 5 to 50 person office straightforward. Ask Bell for a per-user quote and send it to us.

Can I keep my Bell business numbers?
Yes. Numbers port from Bell to DVGVoIP through the standard Canadian porting process, typically in 5 to 10 business days. Your callers dial the same number.
Do I need to buy new phones?
Not always. Unlocked Polycom and other standard-SIP sets often work; we check each model in the free assessment. If you do need phones, we recommend Yealink sets you buy once and own.
Does DVGVoIP include the auto-attendant?
Yes, on every plan, along with ring groups, voicemail-to-email, music on hold and the mobile and desktop apps. Call queues and call recording are on the Business plan.
