Voicemail Menu — Complete Key Reference

A full reference for every keypress in the 3CX voicemail phone menu — main menu, playback controls, and mailbox settings all in one place.

Accessing the Voicemail Menu

From your desk phone, press the Messages / Voicemail key (envelope icon) or dial *99 from your own extension. Enter your PIN followed by # to reach the main menu.

Keys may vary slightly depending on your 3CX version and how your administrator has configured the system. If a key does not behave as described, contact DVGVoIP support.

Main Menu (after entering PIN)

During Message Playback

These keys are active while a voicemail message is playing:

1Replay the message from the beginning
2Save the message (moves to saved messages)
3Delete the message
4Call back the sender (dials their number)
5Forward message to another extension — enter extension number, then #
6Reply with a voicemail (record a voicemail back to the sender)
7Rewind 5 seconds
8Pause / resume playback
9Fast-forward 5 seconds
#Skip to the next message
*Return to the main menu

Mailbox Settings (press 0 from main menu)

1Record standard greeting (plays during normal hours when you do not answer)
2Record away greeting (plays when DND is active or outside office hours)
3Change PIN — enter new PIN twice, each time followed by #
0Record your name announcement
*Return to the main menu

Recording a Greeting or Name (sub-menu)

When you select an option that involves recording (greeting or name), the following keys apply after you have spoken and pressed #:
